Sterling Sobey Obituary
Sterling "Suna", 89 years old was the last survivor of the six "Sobey Kids" from Newton Upper Falls.
Beloved by his family Vera Carducci, Joseph Steffano, Jonathan Steffano, James Straub and his devoted pup "Buddy".
Also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved immensely.
Proud member of the Joseph Guarino St Lazarus Bowling League, Belle Isle Rotary Club, EB Republican Ward Committee and Winthrop Elks.
Family and friends are welcomed to celebrate his life with a funeral mass at St. Lazarus 59 Ashley St, East Boston on Saturday September 20, 2025, at 10am followed by a luncheon in his honor at the East Boston Yacht Club, 1 Rice Street (off Coleridge St) East Boston, MA, burial will be private.
