Steve Hamrick Obituary

Steve Anthony Hamrick age 71, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Steve was born in Dalton, GA, on July 23, 1954, the son of the late Jay Hamrick and Ruby Virginia Montieth Baggett. He worked many years as car salesman. Steve enjoyed going to casinos, trading, bargains, race cars, and Elvis Presley. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Hamrick. Survivors include two sons, James Hamrick and Bobby Hamrick, Sr.; daughter, Crystal Maidenment; daughter-in-law, Kristin Hamrick; grandchildren, Gracie Epperson, Marlee Hamrick, Bobby Hamrick, Jr., and Piper Hamrick; a brother, John Douglas Hamrick; two sisters, Brenda Thompson (James) and Regina Grant (Mike); half brother, Harold Hamrick (Angela); and a step brother, David Baggett (Kathy). Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life will be Monday, August 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., the Chapel of the Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. James Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Villanow, GA. Visitation will be Monday from noon until the service hour at Dalton Funeral Home.
