Steve was born November 22, 1970, in Tuscaloosa to the late Steve and Martha Hodo. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed being able to make things with his hands. He was known for his colorful storytelling. He enjoyed the simple things in life, just hanging out with friends was one of his favorite things to do. He was a gifted gardener, growing vegetables and sharing the bounty of his harvests with friends and family made him happiest. He also loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors, with rabbit hunting being among his favorite of hobbies.
He is survived by his two sons Steve Henry Hodo, III, and Drake Hodo; grandchildren Grantlee Hodo, Lawson Hodo and Charlie Rose Hodo; brother Thomas Hodo (Nikki) as well as a host of extended family and friends.
