LANDRESS - Steve Landress, age 68 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 5, 2025 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2299 Rosebud Road, SW, Grayson, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Steve was a Deacon at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was very involved in church activities. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Steve was a collector of many things and enjoyed drinking McDonalds coffee. He also enjoyed classic Western movies, TV shows, and NASCAR. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed coaching his daughter's sports teams when they were young. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James Hennon and Mary Maude (Bradley) Landress. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Shelby Landress of Lawrenceville; daughters and sons-in-law, Renee (Reuben) Hunter of Buford and Katie (Nick) Thomas of Roswell; grandchildren, Grace, Paige and Weston James; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Jane (David) O'Neal of Lawrenceville and Teresa (Jim) Hunter of Grayson; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews.
