Steven Fowler Obituary

Steve Fowler met an untimely and unexpected passing on July 15, 2025 at the age of 43. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah VanDeusen, and his brother, Erik Fowler.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Ken and his wife Diane; his brother, Brian and his wife Hani Ali; cherished nieces and nephews, Iesa, Isaiah, Jennah, and Idriis; loving cousins from the VanDeusen family, and many dear friends.
Steve had a natural talent for music and studied under Ruth Cahn at the Eastman School of Music. His marimba skills provided a full scholarship to Bucknell University where he was in the orchestra, played baseball, and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Music, especially percussion, was a life long joy, and as an adult he played with the Irondequoit Concert Band. Steven loved to laugh and enjoyed comedians whenever he could and often quoted them when he was teeing off on the golf course or in a boat catching the big one with family and friends.
Professionally, Steven was committed to growth and learning and earned his Master's of Science in Public Accountancy and Corporate Finance from the Simon School of Business.

Interment will be held privately.
