Steven Gorski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anthony G. Staab Funeral Home on Oct. 14, 2025.
Age 71, a lifelong resident of Elliott, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Son of the late Edward J. and Loretta (Bohenski) Gorski. Brother of his most beloved and dedicated sister, Cynthia Gorski, and the late Mark Gorski and Timothy Gorski.
Cynthia and Steven shared a lifelong and inseparable bond. They were devoted to one another, providing mutual care and companionship throughout their lives. Cynthia had the privilege of lovingly caring for her brother, a role she embraced with great devotion and tenderness.
Steven was also a cherished uncle and is survived by his nephew and niece, Edward Gorski and Lisa Gorski. Steve will be sadly missed by many loving extended relatives and friends.
Growing up in Elliott, Steve graduated from Langley High School, Class of 1972. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, where he proudly served. Upon leaving the service, he decided to continue his education at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a a Bachelors degree in Administration of Justice. Steve's keen interest in law and justice stayed with him throughout his life - he especially enjoyed watching Law & Order, a show that reflected his lifelong curiosity about the world of justice and investigation.
He was an active member in his Bible study group led by Bill Stolze, where his faith and fellowship with others brought him much comfort and joy.
Friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where full military honors will be rendered. Arrangements are entrusted to ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
