Steven Lawrence Tracy, 66 years old, of Browning, Missouri, passed on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, Missouri, after a short battle with cancer.

Steve was born on February 9, 1959, to Mary Lee (Mantlo) and James Tracy. In 1967 his mother married his stepfather. Glen O. Richardson and they moved to Milan, Missouri. Steve attended Milan C-2 High School and then went on to serve in the United States Navy for 4 years. Following that, he graduated from North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri, with an Associates Degree in Computer Programming in 1999. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2001 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Steve owned and operated Digi-Tech Computer Services for almost 27 years in North Missouri and was a highly accomplished computer programmer, well known for technical expertise. He also worked at Sprint Communications and was a researcher and development manager at Western CE Inc. earlier in his career. He helped many friends with their computer and TV issues.

Steve was a sports fan, attending many games in his younger years. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, a Kansas City Royals fan, enjoyed pets, and was an excellent pool player. He was a dedicated son to his beloved mother, Mary. He is survived by cousins and special friends in Milan.

Steve's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri.
