Linda Sue McMeans, age 75 of Addison, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 21, 1950 to Coyt and Dorothy Andrews. Sue was a devoted friend to all. She enjoyed traveling and singing in the church choir. Sue was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church (Upshaw Community). Her cat, "Tiger" was her baby!
Visitation will be Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Upshaw Community, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother D.J. Corneilus and Brother Donnie Carroll will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Crittenden, Dustin Wilkins, Wade Andrews, Heath Grimes, Doug Durbin, and Rylee Hulsey.
Sue is survived by her special friend, Kenneth Thomas; sisters, Diane (Ronnie) Wilkins and Jan Crittenden; brother, Jamie (Kim) Andrews; aunts, Willena Key and Betty Sue Andrews; and nieces and nephews, Haley (Maverick) Wilkins and Amber Crittenden, Dustin Wilkins, Andrew Crittenden, Kayla FarQuhar, Gunner Pendley, and Rylee Hulsey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McMeans; parents, Coyt and Dorothy Andrews; and brother in law, Kelly Crittenden.
Family would like to extend a special 'thank you' to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for all their care during this time.

Sue was a very dear friend of mine from way back when we worked at Prestolite for nearly 30 years. She and I have remained in contact with each over the last several years. Sue will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
