Sue Stahl Obituary

Sue Ellen (nee Shank) Stahl, 63, earned her wings on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Arden Courts in Bath, after an eight-year battle with Alzheimer's.
Sue was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on October 15, 1961, to William and Marilyn (Petit) Shank. She was a 1980 graduate of Wadsworth High School, where she earned her cosmetology license. She worked as a hairdresser in Wadsworth for 36 years.
Besides being a hairdresser, she was a loving, loyal wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had a great sense of humor and infectious laugh. She was a good cook and was known for her homemade noodles. Always up for an adventure, she enjoyed vacations and spending time with her family. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her brothers, Tim (Vicki) Shank of Green and Pat (Pam) Shank of Cincinnati; sisters-in-law, Chris (Bill) Buckingham of Burbank ad Sue Stahl of Creston; nieces and nephews Michelle Longoria, Jake (Gina) Shank, Erin (Ray) Martell, Adam (Kyra) Shank, Mark Buckingham and Tosh (Laura) Buckingham; eleven great-nieces and nephews; special life-long friend Cindy Cleckner.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband of 39 years, Bruce Stahl.
Friends may call from 5-7pm, Friday, July 11, 2025 (memorial service beginning at 7pm) at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 North Lyman, St. Wadsworth.
Private inurnment will be on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
The family would like to thank the staff of Arden Courts in Bath, for their care and compassion during Sue's time with them.
