Ms. Susan Diane Hatcher, age 60 of 2063 Raymond Anderson Road Elberton, GA 30635 passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 28, 2025. Born December 26, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Beverly Johnson Hatcher.
Susan was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a member of Gwinnett Global Methodist Church. She was a small business owner which provided independent consulting services to her clients. Susan's formal education includes a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Counseling from the University of Florida, a Master of Divinity from Emory University, as well as formal training in Computer Technology in the United States Air Force.
Along with her time spent in the presence of the Lord, Susan enjoyed all things music, particularly the piano and singing.
In addition to her parents Susan is preceded in death by her niece Jean Hatcher.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings; Dennis Hatcher (Carol),Steven Hatcher, Roger Hatcher (Misty), Mark Hatcher, and Laura Hatcher. Special friends Mark Fiddie and Joanne Stowers, several nieces and nephews as well as her fur baby Karis.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in the Coldwater Methodist Church Cemetery.
