Tammy Sue Ferrell age 57 passed away Thursday morning July 24, 2025, at her home in Smithville. She was born July 25, 1967, to her mother, Sally Ann Stacy Cantrell and her late father Glen Donald "Don" Cantrell. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Glenn and Sudie Mae Cantrell and Abe and Cassie Stacy; father and mother-in-law, Loyd and Josie Ferrell. Tammy was a member of Whorton Springs Baptist Church and worked at the Shirt Factory and later as Custodian at DeKalb Middle School. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday July 26, 2025, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. David Mahan and Michael Hale officiating and interment to follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 12 Noon until 7 PM and Saturday 9 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. She is survived by husband, Mark Ferrell of Smithville; 2 sons, Travis (Lauren) Ferrell of Smithville and Adam (McKayla) Ferrell of Smithville: grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, Weston, and one on the way; mother, Sally Cantrell; brothers, Donnie (Pat) Cantrell, Gary (Terri) Cantrell, Terry (Tina) Cantrell; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Loyd Junior Ferrell (Brian Marible). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Ferrell family.
