Tammy Woods Obituary

Mrs. Tammy G. Woods, 61 passed away on March 12, 2025 at The Greens of Concord. She was the eldest of six children. Tammy was born in Rowan County on December 30, 1963 to the late Mr. Fred Geter and the late Mrs. Annie Patricia Everhart Geter.
Tammy was a graduate of North Rowan High School Class of "82". She was most recently employed at Trinity Oaks in Salisbury, NC as a dietary aide.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: devoted husband, Johnny Woods of Charlotte, NC; son, Timothy Tyrone Geter (Naquita) of Statesville, NC; four grandchildren: Tyasia, Treyveon, LaDarren and Kezion Geter; sisters: Helen G. Bratcher (late Derrick), Pamela G. Mitchell (Darren Sr.) of Salisbury, NC; brothers: Fred M. Geter (LaSonja) of Winston-Salem, NC, Peter Geter of Lincolnton, NC; best friend, Thomasina Everhart of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home Inc. located at 302 Broad Drive SW. in Concord. The visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Lamb Funeral Home Inc. will be serving the family.
