Tyson Cruz Red Elk was born on August 30, 1989, in Pine Ridge, SD to Howard Red Elk and Mary Sitting Up. Tyson made his journey to the Spirit World on July 2, 2025, at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD
