YOUNG, Ms. Tatianna L. - Age 46, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital-Detroit. Family hour 1:30 PM Thursday, July 10, 2025, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor James Young, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Thursday. Ms. Young will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday. Tatianna LaTia Young was born August 17, 1978 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Donna Young. Tatianna was a resident of Detroit, Michigan where she obtained a college degree from Wayne State University. She was employed by Chrysler Assembly Plant. Tatianna was a devoted member of The Way of The Lord Baptist Church. She enjoyed skating, reading, Karaoke and spending time with her family. Tia was a devoted and faithful mother and grandmother. She had a tenacious spirit that respected authenticity. Tia's confidence and fearless spirit will be remembered by all who crossed her path. Tatianna LaTia Young leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Kaylyn Young and Jervaya Johnson; 4 sons, Jakarie (Rhonda) Young, Darious Young, Nehemiah Pea and Jaivion Johnson, all of Flint; grandchildren, Zakharia Mack, Makenzie Jones and Yahshua Young; mother, Donna M. Young; 2 brothers, Christen A. Young and Quan Young; god-sister, Bridget Wheeler; 2 nephews, Riley Lewis and Christen Young, all of Flint; aunt, Jaquelyn Gray of Arlington, TX; special cousins, Latisha Young, Rozina Askew, Lovie Mitchell, Kadada Lenoir, Torrie Stanley, Precious Curry-Miller, Mirage Wilson, Mahari Wilson, Taitym, Kylie, Kobe and Wilson; cousins, Barbara Nesbitt, Deborah Harris, Valerie Humphries, Tonya Davis, Ava Murry, and Alfonzo Dantzler Jr.; sister-in-law, Jasmine Goldsmith; extended cousins, Kenyetta Snell, Natasha Nesbitt, LaQundra Nesbitt, Roshawnda Allen, Onquette Woodyard, Theron Young, Charles Young and Ernie Coulter; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Artina Buggs, Quay Marvin, Tawana Davis, Tawana Smith, Jequala Buggs, Therese Skinner and Kiosha Mack. Ms. Young was preceded in death by her father, Tommie L. Hamlett; grandparents; uncle, Darous (Duekum) Young; aunt, Armazell (Dusty) Copeland; aunts, Ola Mae (Dolly) Young and Rosie Dantzler; and special cousin, Vickie Young.
