Teresa Bissegger Obituary

It is with profound love and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of
Teresa Melendez Bissegger. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who has returned to her Heavenly Father.
Teresa's legacy will live on through mother Lois, Sister Pam, her daughter
Lacy, and her grandchildren, Noah, Natasha, Jayce, Samara, Breanna and
her great grandchild William who filled her heart with joy and who will carry
forward her love and spirit.
In addition to her loving family, Teresa was blessed with many dear friends,
cousins, nieces, and nephews who enriched her life and will profoundly feel
her absence. Her kindness, and steadfast loyalty cultivated lifelong
relationships, bringing joy to her and to all those around her.
Teresa was an amazing artist. She loved to watercolor and paint pictures in
her spare time. She also loved to write music. She was a bird lover, and she
was so fascinated by the beauty of them.
Teresa started making candy apples when she was 16 years old at her
family's carnival. She loved making those apples. She has made a legacy of
having the best candy and caramel apples ever made!
Teresa went back to college later in life and earned a bachelor degree in
education.
Teresa has such strong faith in her religion. She was comforted by her faith.
Teresa was married and sealed in the Provo temple to Kevin D. Bissegger. In
December of 1973.
Teresa lived a life exemplified by compassion, warmth, and resilience. Her
wisdom, laughter, and boundless generosity will be remembered by all who
had the privilege of knowing her. She was the sweetest, kind person who
never had a negative thing to say about anything or anyone. She always saw
the best in everyone. She would do anything she could do to help someone.
Her positive attitude towards life will carry on through her family.
Teresa will be reunited in the kingdom of heaven with her loving husband
Kevin Bissegger, her daughter Summer Medford Bissegger, her brother Brad
Melendez and dad Lou Melendez.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:00 - 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
