Teresa Elaine Jones, 64, of Checotah, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee.
She was born October 26, 1960, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Johnny Wayne Brinlee and Frances Lorraine (Gordon) Brinlee.
Teresa married Michail Eugene Jones on November 17, 1978, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Teresa lavished in the time spent with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Michail Jones of the home; her sons, Jason Jones and his wife, Robi and their two children, Railee Craig and Aydin Jones of Checotah, Justin Jones and his wife, Tera and their three children, Thor Mclemore, Darci Jones and Madyx Jones of Checotah, Johnathon Jones and his wife, Heather and their three children, Aubree Jones, Braylon Jones and Kayleigh Jones of Checotah and Richard Jones and his wife, Taylor and their three children, Kenadee Jones, Myles Jones and Jude Jones of Checotah; her sisters, Jackie Wallace and her husband, Paul of Ft. Gibson and Pam Dove of Arkansas; her brother, John Brinlee and his wife, Angie of Porum; a bonus sister, Melanie Thayer of Muskogee and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Frances Brinlee and two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Dove and Danny Jones.
Honoring Teresa cremation is planned. The family will conduct a Private Celebration of Life at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 211 W. Okmulgee St., Checotah, Oklahoma 74426.
