Terri DeAnn Manzenberger, 57 years old, a longtime Morgan County resident, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, after a short courageous battle with cancer. Her life began on Tuesday, September 26th, 1967, in Bedford, Indiana when she was born to Brenda (Eagan) Phelps and the late John Manzenberger. Terri's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through donation, helping others to live. Terri was a dedicated employee of Wendy's for 20 years, working in Mooresville, Bedford and Martinsville locations. She enjoyed crocheting, word search, flowers and canning. She was an avid fan of watching "Days of Our Lives" for many years and most importantly she adored her family and friends. Terri leaves behind a host of loving family and friends, including two daughters, Susan Marie Mitchell (husband, Roger) of Mooresville and Mary Ruth Smith of Martinsville; mother, Brenda (Eagan) Phelps of Bedford; companion of 30 years, Roger Smith and his daughter, Heather McClusky (husband, Rodney) all of Martinsville; sister, Tamara Hartley (husband, Brian) of Mooresville; brother, John David Manzenberger of Indianapolis; three grandsons, Blake and Brett McClusky and Broden Mitchell; great granddaughter, Kinzely Mae McClusky; beloved dog, Millie and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Manzenberger, aunt, Frances Potts and uncle, Jack Eagan. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center. A service celebrating Terri's life will begin at 7:00 pm immediately following the visitation at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7923, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
