Terry L. Campbell Sr., 77, of Kansas, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Terry was born on June 16, 1947, in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Roy L. Campbell and Ruth L. Campbell (Hawley). Terry was a Vietnam Veteran, having served with honor in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1968. He spent most of his life as a tool and die maker, having worked for Maytag in Illinois, and Mexican Original in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Terry was a Christian having been baptized later in life at the Lifepoint Fellowship in Kansas, Oklahoma. He enjoyed watching sports, going to the casino, joking around with people giving them a hard time and was active at the Senior Center in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Mike Ihrer; and sisters Barb Lozano and his twin sister Carrie Marie.
He is survived by two sons; Terry Campbell II and wife Brandy of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Timothy Campbell of Abingdon, Illinois; one brother, Charles Ihrer of Avon, Illinois; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
There will be a gathering of friends and family at the family’s home, 508 Hawthorne pl., Keokuk, Ia on April 4, 2025, with a burial of cremains on April 5, 2025 at Wythe Congregational Cemetary at 2:00pm in his family’s plot in Illinois.
