Terry Wayne Hobbs, 64 of Independence, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at his home peacefully surrounded by his loving wife as well as loved ones.

Terry was born May 12, 1961 in Lee's Summit, Missouri; son of Truman D. and Helen M. (Shouse) Hobbs. His family moved to Holden when Terry was four. He attended Holden High School and graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Management from O.U. in Oklahoma City. He was united in marriage to Donna F. Wyatt on September 12, 2015 in Conroe, TX. Terry spent the majority of his working life as a service manager for Houston Freighliner. He loved riding Harley's, cruising around in his Corvette and enjoyed attending concerts with "his girl." He was an avid Chiefs and "Boomer, Sooner" fan.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Donna; three sons and three daughters: Terry Wayne Hobbs, II of Independence, MO; Tiffany Nicole Hobbs (Shane) of Independence, MO; Jayson Wyatt (Tiffany) of Independence, MO; Joe'l Rosales (Ashley) of Oak Grove, MO; Jenia Rosales of Neguanee, MI; and Jolene Congdon of Harvey, MI; sister: Debbie Henderson (Paul) of Vidor, TX and 30 grandbabies. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alan Hobbs.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date in Independence, MO.
