Terry Quirin Obituary

Terry Paul Quirin, 78, of New Athens, IL, born December 1, 1946, in Belleville, IL, passed away on Thursday May 15, 2025, at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. He was a retired banker and a US Navy veteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents – John and Geraldine (Wolf) Quirin and a daughter-in-law – Jennifer (Gain) Quirin.
Terry is survived by his loving wife – the former Karen Bangert, whom he married on May 30, 1970, at Zion Church in Millstadt, IL, 2 children – Brad Quirin of Smithton, IL, Sarah (Chris) Damann of New Athens, IL, 4 siblings – Yvonne Tritt of Freeburg, IL, Dianne Felts of Springfield, IL, Charlie Quirin of Belleville, IL, Annette Bingham of Swansea, IL and 6 grandchildren – Ella Quirin, Ryan Quirin, Luisa Haas, Madison Damann, Megan Damann and Zechariah Damann. He is also survived by his beloved dog – Phoebe.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family trust in loving memory of his mother – Geraldine Quirin.
It was Terry's wish to be cremated with no public visitation or funeral. Private family interment will be held at Oakridge Cemetery in New Athens, IL at a later date.
