Terry “Shoate” Reece, age 66 of the Kempville Community in Smith County, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, July 9, 2025 at his residence. Terry is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

A Celebration of Life Service for Terry “Shoate” Reece will be conducted Saturday afternoon, July 19, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Cordell Hull Dam Pavillon.

He is preceded in death by: parents, John & Naomi (Meadows) Reece

Survivors include: daughters, Brandie Stafford of Carthage, Terilyn Odle & husband, Nathan of Farmington, KY, Vanea Reece; son, Lewis Reece & wife, Jordan all of Carthage; grandchildren, Candice Stafford, Emilie Armstrong, Clayton Odle, Charlotte, Reagan, & Clara Reece; great-grandchildren, Blaine Hamlet, Emma-Jean Stafford, Nathaniel Armstrong, Jaxson Lancaster, Lilly Lancaster, & Charlie Stafford; special friend, Debbie Taylor; sisters, Shelia Lanier-Ross & husband, Steve of Cookeville, Lori Davenport & husband, Michael of Gainesboro; brothers, Glen Reece & wife, Patsy of Defeated, Stanley Reece of Baxter.
