Thelma Beaver Obituary
Thelma Beaver, 90, Sistersville, WV, formerly of New Matamoras, OH, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Born in Sardis, OH, on January 17, 1935, she was a daughter of the late William Ray and Anna Louise Guldeman Merckle. She was a 1953 graduate of Sardis High School and was a member of Center Valley Baptist Church, where she was a quilter. She was a retired cook from Matamoras Elementary School.
She is survived by four children, Randy (Linda) Beaver, Robin Johnson, Rick Beaver, and Dee Henthorn; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy D. Beaver, two great-granddaughters, Jordan and Mikia, brother, Harry Merckle, and two sons-in-law, Donnie Henthorn and Bob Johnson.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday April 4, 2025 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor David Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Parr Hill Cemetery, Beavertown, OH. Friends may call from 12 to 2 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
