Theresa M. (Bavuso) Dix, 76, of Gardner, passed away peacefully, on Monday July 14, 2025 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center - University Campus with her daughters by her side.
Born in Chelsea, on June 17, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John and Adele (Delarue) Bavuso. She graduated from Woburn High School in the class of 1967. Theresa worked for 20 years in Customer Service, at Stop & Shop, until her retirement.
She enjoyed her time traveling to the beach, especially her happy place York, Maine. Theresa was known as a hardworking woman, and one that especially loved her family.
Theresa is survived by four daughters, Adele LaCasse of Salsbury, Diane Espinoza and her late husband Daniel of Bakersfield, California, Brenda Sheehan and her husband David of Gardner, and Danielle Sullivan and her husband Kristopher of Port St Lucy, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren including Julian, Christian, Alessia, Aria, and Scarlett; two brothers, John Bavuso and his wife Karen of Woburn, and Ralph Bavuso and his significant other, Kathy of Winchendon; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty," Loder of Derry, New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a lifelong friend Janice Wollinger and her late husband Ronald of Woburn.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
