Theresa Ferrari-Counts Obituary

Theresa "TC" Ferrari-Counts, age 64, of West Frankfort, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in the V.A. Medical Center in Marion, IL.
She was born on February 7, 1961 in Yuma, AZ to Sisto F. and Luann (Johnson) Ferrari.
TC was a graduate of Frankfort Community High School Class of 1979.
She married the love of her life, Marty Counts, in Paducah, KY and they shared over seventeen years together.
TC proudly served her country by enlisting in the United States Army and during her service was stationed in Germany. After her period of faithful service, she was honorably discharged.
TC's love for her country led her to continue her service for veterans by working for the V.A. Medical Center in Marion for many years. She was of the Christian faith and in her spare time she enjoyed quilting, drawing, and doing anything craft-related. She was so excited about her craft shed she recently set up. She also enjoyed singing karaoke and riding on the side-by-side with her husband, Marty. TC was proud of her Italian heritage and loved cooking. She especially loved her chihuahuas, Priscilla and Nikki Jo.
Survivors include her husband, Marty Counts of West Frankfort, IL; her children, Crystal Ferrari, Jon Price, Tiffany Martin, Miranda Nielsen, Adam Yates and Alex Yates; grandchildren, William, Maurice, Hunter, Laylana, Talon, Rae, Caleb, Vincent, Hadlie and Rylee; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her and brother, Sisto Anthony Ferrari.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stone Funeral Home, 1201 East Poplar Street, West Frankfort, IL.
The visitation will be at Stone Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Following the time of visitation, the memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. with Chaplain Becky Capps officiating.
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to "Community Living Center" at the Marion VA. Contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be mailed c/o Stone Funeral Home, 1201 East Poplar Street, West Frankfort, IL 62896.
