Mrs. Theresa Beth Jones Bowdoin, age 80, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully Monday morning, July 7, 2025. She was born in Shreveport, LA, March 13, 1945, daughter of the late Odis L. Jones and Beth Denman Jones.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren Daniel Bowdoin "Dan"; grandmother, Sibyl Denman; and uncle, Russell Denman. She was a member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her half-sisters, Bonnie Muse of Salem, MA, Debbie Collis of Syracuse, NY, Linda Lewis (Bob) of Sycamore, GA and Sandra Regini (Ellis) of Novasota, TX; much beloved cousins, Terry Denman of Waleska, GA, Vickie Caskey of Haughton, LA, Sybil Whitworth (Jay) of Scott City, MO and Rose Marie Smith (Kim) of Jackson, MO.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11:30 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Michael Hunt and Paul Battles officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the hour of the funeral.
