Born on September 15, 1938 in Gloucester City, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas Corcoran and Mercedis (Doddis) Corcoran.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked for the N.J. Highway Patrol state police.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. (Cannon) Corcoran, his children, Thomas Corcoran, Jr. (Kuemjoo) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Margaret R. Adkisson (Daniel) of Linwood, NJ and one grandson, Dr. Frank C. Florence.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV with Pastor Dean Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
All arrangements are by McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV.

I´m thankful I got to know Tom in my younger years when I was very impressionable. I learned from him how to love my souse, family, friends and country. He was always so kind to me. I called him my second dad. I will miss you!
