Mary Puckett Obituary

A Winchester resident, Mrs. Mary Frances Puckett, age 80 passed away, August 30, 2025, at her residence. Mary Frances was born January 24, 1945, in Lebanon to the late Joseph Leonard Osborne, Sr. and Mary Alice Elder Osborne. She was a supervisor for E Campus.com and drove a school bus for handicapped children for many years. Mary Frances loved spending time with her family and traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Leonard "JL" Osborne, Jr., Martin Osborne and Larry Osborne. She is survived by her husband Donnie Puckett, a daughter, Melanie Puckett of Lexington, one son, Brian Puckett of Winchester, three special grandchildren, Makayla Puckett, Logan Puckett, and Jaden Jones, a sister, Susan Montgomery of Lebanon, two brothers, Fred (Ginny Ann) Osborne of Bardstown, and Tommy (Margaret) Osborne.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Mary Frances Puckett will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Fr. Augustine Judd, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with prayer service at 7:00 pm that evening. Additional visitation will be Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
