A visitation for Thomas Rogers will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-DeKalb.
Thomas Burton Rogers, age 76, of Needham, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in Butler, AL. He was born August 5, 1949, in Meridian, MS, to Rufus and Martha Rogers.
Tom enjoyed being outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, target shooting, or camping on the river. He was an also an excellent mechanic, building his own cars to drag race at Battlefield Dragstrip. He was also talented at using his hands to make knives and figurines.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Turner Rogers of Needham, AL; former wife, Jacqueline Dempsey of Pensacola, FL; son, Shannon Rogers (Crystal Darnell) of Pensacola, FL; and grandchildren, Ella Grace Rogers, Thomas Coen Rogers, John Knox Rogers, and Kaylee Harper Rogers. He was preceded in death by his son, Lincoln Rogers; daughter, Kelli Brandenburg; father, Rufus Burton Rogers; and mother, Martha Chaphin Rogers.
