Timothy Delane Chambers, age 60, of Canton, GA, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family singing Amazing Grace.
Tim was a sweet precious soul who loved the Lord, his family, and his many countless friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and church family, especially celebrating his birthdays with good gospel singing. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where he was saved and baptized. He wanted everyone to be saved and often asked folks to "pray for my children." Tim also enjoyed going bowling with his family and friends. He liked fishing, especially going out in the boat with his brother and brother-in-law.
Tim was preceded in death by his Daddy and Mama, Rev. C and Ruby Chambers, his brother, David Chambers, brothers-in-law Buddy Mayo and Larry Reece, sister-in-law Linda Chambers, nephews Steve Chambers, Eric Mayo, and Kevin Chambers.
Tim is survived by his brothers Harold Chambers, Kenneth (Joyce) Chambers, Charles (Betty) Chambers, and Darrell (Tammy) Chambers, his sisters Evelyn Mayo, Brenda Reece, and Wilma (Gary) Standridge, 10 nephews, 9 nieces, several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Monday, July 7, 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at South Canton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Canton, GA, with burial to follow the service.
