Dunn, NC: Mr. Timothy Glenn Coats, age 54, of Timothy Road passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held-2:00 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. Coats was born on December 8, 1970 in Wake County. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenwood James Coats; and his daughter, Kristen Coats. Mr. Coats was an avid fisherman and enjoyed listening to his music. He was a jack-of-all trades and loved tinkering around the house working on his ideas. Mr. Coats loved feeding his birds and squirrels and his family knew him as “Tash.” He was a devoted family man and was deeply loved by his family and friends.
Surviving includes his wife of 1 year, Wanda Harper Coats; daughters, Daniella Coats of Louisiana; Amy Burgess of Dunn; step-daughters, Grace Baggett of the home, Ashley Dukes of Elizabethtown, Angela Dawes of Benson; mother, Judy Coats of Four Oaks; sister, Angela Coats of Four Oaks; three grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
