Timothy Richard Samford, born February 11, 1963, in Houston Texas, and a Granbury resident, was a devoted husband, loving and supportive father, and a proud grandfather. Tim's life was a true testament to the title "Self-Made". With humble beginnings, he entered the work force and "Real World" at the age of 11 with a 6th grade education, and an unbreakable belief that he could become the best at anything he did. At age 30, he became a father and made it his life mission to provide a better life and unconditional love for his children. Tim married Lisa Samford, and together they raised 7 children. He would drop anything at a moments notice to be there for his children, whom he loved dearly, and pick wildflowers for his wife on his way home to her. Tim was a truly selfless Man, Husband, and Father, who's only want in life was to see his family smile. "Sometimes, the easiest way to do something, is to just do it." was Tim's life motto, and he lived up to his words until the very last day of his life, July 16, 2025. Timothy Richard Samford will be forever remembered and remain in the hearts of his beloved surviving family, wife Lisa Samford; siblings Debbie, Lizzie, Suzie, and Joey; sons Richard, David, Cole, and Chayne; daughters Faith, Heather, and Sky and numerous grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am. on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury.
