It is with deep sadness that the family of Timothy Lee (Tim) Vogel announces his passing June 29, 2025 in Marana Arizona. He was born Timothy L. Fox in Springfield, Missouri. After his father's passing, his mother Dorothy married Edwin Vogel of Vinita, Oklahoma. Tim was adopted by Ed, whom he loved and admired. Tim grew up in Vinita and after graduating from high school he attended Oklahoma State University.
Tim built a career as a general contractor. He met his wife Ramona, best friend and lifelong love, while building homes on Grand Lake. They married and blended their families in 1987. In 1993 they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Arizona quickly became their home. Tim continued in custom home construction, working 20 years for an Arizona premier builder and the following eight years he operated his own custom build company. He developed life time friendships with many of his contractors and clients. Upon retiring, Tim and Ramona moved to a rural property outside of Marana.
Tim's favorite times were spent with his family. He loved traveling in his motor home, camping up north with the "kids", and having breakfast cookout competitions. He loved trips to Mexico and the good times on the beach at San Carlos. he enjoyed hanging out at his pool with family and friends listening to country music. He enjoyed spending hours in his workshop creating project - from fencing to furniture. Tim loved the trees and plants native to Arizona: he was constantly adding to his home's landscape.
Tim is survived by his wife of 38 years Ramona Vogel, his daughters Serena (Wes) Vogel White, Scarlett (Sheldon) Vogel Ham, and Shannon Ciccone. By his sons Matt (Katina) Teubner, and Mike Ciccone. He is survived by granddaughters Haidyn Teuber and Chloe Ciccone and grandsons Brunson White, Max Ciccone, and Ethan Ciccone: and five great grandchildren. Tim is survived by his mother Dorothy Vogel of Vinita Oklahoma and sister Kimberly (Jeff) Weber of Carefree, Arizona.
He was proceeded in death by daughter Virginia (Jeff) Vogel Schroeder, his grandson Emerson Ciccone, and father Edwin Vogel.
The family expresses their gratitude to friends and extended family for your prayers, your presence, phone calls, texts, and other expressions of concern that you have shown during our time of grief. Your kindness is much appreciated.
Tim loved each of his rescue dogs – nine over the past 23 years. His Gypsy and Bane will miss him terribly. In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider a donation to an animal rescue of your choice – or one of the several close to his heart: www.rincal.org – www.boxerluv.org – www.azhumane.org – www.brittanyrescueaz.org
