Funeral services for Mrs. Tina Louise Cole Elkins will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Elkins, 60, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, with her children, grandchildren, sister Toni, nieces, and Tyler by her side.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Tina devoted all her time to her kids and grandkids. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lacy Jane Elkins; her father, Daryl Cole; one sister, Tammy McDaniel; her father-in-law, Harold Elkins; and special nephew, Bubba McDaniel.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons, Harold Dewayne Elkins, Jr. of Oakdale, Lucas Elkins (MaKenzie) of Forest Hill, and Madden Elkins of Oakdale; two daughters, Stephanie Monk (Billy Joe) of Oakdale, and Adrienne LeJeune (Levi) of Oakdale; six granddaughters, Jacee Monk, Marlee Monk, Keilee Hebert, Stormi LeJeune, Kenley Elkins, and DaniLynn Lawrence; five grandsons, Gage Monk, Colton Hebert, Trenton Elkins, Ace Elkins, and Ayden Murphy; and three great grandchildren, Krosley Elkins, Kaisley Elkins, and Greyson Monk.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve are: Dewayne Elkins, Jr., Gage Monk, Lucas Elkins, Tyler "Tank" Dickens, Tanner LeBlanc, and Levi Lejeune. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason "O.G." Black and Madden Elkins.
