Tommie Elizabeth Bell Bokemeyer of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away on July 14, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1934, in the Old Union Community of Titus County to Henry Milton & Elizabeth Parris Reese Bell. She married Robert Burt Bokemeyer, a native of Houston, Texas. Robert passed on February 14, 1978 & they had 4 children together.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Kimberly Simmons & Michael Simmons; daughter & son-in-law, Kerry & David Baggett; son, Kendyle Bokemeyer; grandchild & spouse, Matthew & Samantha Holland, grandchild & spouse, Robert & Wendy Holland, grandchild & spouse, Jordan & Matthew Vaughn, grandchild & spouse, Emily O'Neal & Jesse Seaton; great grandchildren, David, Brooklyn & Weldon Holland, Braxton, Rowlynn, Evelyn Holland, Riley Willing, Mason Strawbridge, Aubrey O'Neal, Dooley Seaton, Jaycie Seaton, Weston Vaughn & Ivory Vaughn.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burt Bokemeyer; son, Ronnie Bokemeyer & a grandson, Kendrick Strawbridge.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2025, in the Bates Cooper Sloan Chapel. Interment will be held in the Old Union Cemetery.
