Tony Allen Crump, known for his jolly spirit, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Huntersville, North Carolina. Born on March 24, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tony was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and joy.
Throughout his life, Tony was known for his love of sports and enjoyed playing horseshoes and cards. He had a passion for grilling, often delighting friends and family with perfectly cooked steaks and hamburgers. Tony also cherished riding his bicycle, attending fireworks displays, and making memorable trips to the beach.
Tony is survived by his siblings, Johnny Crump, Roy Lee Crump, Terrie Turner, Debbie Boyer, and Cynthi Coddle, brother-in-law Roy Turner along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry forward his legacy of joy and laughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Cleveland Crump, his mother, Mary Eugenia Jones Crump, and his brother, Edward Crump. Their memories will forever be cherished alongside the vibrant life Tony led.
Visitation will take place on July 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, North Carolina. The funeral service will follow immediately, beginning at 2:00 PM. After the service, Tony will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Charlotte, with the burial scheduled for 3:30 PM.
