Tracy A. Young, born on January 11, 1967, in Rochester, New York, passed away on April 10, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Tracy was a remarkable individual, defined by her enduring kindness and innate ability to connect with others. She never met a stranger and dedicated herself to helping anyone in need, regardless of the size of their request. Her genuine spirit and warmth touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and generosity that will continue to resonate with those she encountered.
Tracy is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Young, and her beloved children: Aubriana Leigh Young, Kayleigh Marie Young, Annabella Rhianye Young, Richard Nolan Young, and Cameron Wade Young. She is also survived by her cherished sisters, Stephanie Whiteside Spaltro, and Barbara Ann Whiteside; and her brother, Louis Robert Whiteside. Among her extended family are her aunts, Alberta Roschel Parker and Edythe Roschel Lapi, as well as many cousins, including Peter Lapi, Michelle Lapi Schaffner, and Christina Lapi Ryckman.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Julianne Roschel Whiteside and Robert Eugene Whiteside. Tracy's influence and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind not just a familial connection, but a community enriched by her selflessness and vibrant spirit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at 29065 Dale Ave., Livingston, LA on Saturday, May 10, 2025 beginning at 1PM.
