Travis Giard Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 25, 2025.
Travis Joel Giard, age 48, was a man known for his helpful and kind nature plus keen wit. He helped many with his skilled handiwork by building houses and home repairs in the Maple Valley, Renton, Ravensdale, and Hobart areas. Born in January 1977, Travis brought warmth, humor, and generosity into every space, leaving a lasting mark on those who knew him. He would often go out of his way to help others, expecting little in return. His lifelong friends were made through playing sports, riding motorcycles, and causing mischief from a young age. Even as adults, they were often found together playing whiffle ball, hanging out around a bonfire, and celebrating their milestones together. Travis always spoke highly of his friends and wanted the best for each of them.
Travis is survived by his parents, Jaci Giard & Ron and Debby Giard; sister Rossi (Tate) Ensign and family; along with grandmother Verla (Sam) Bates; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He was adored by all and his passing leaves a wake of sadness.
Travis' parents invite family and friends to gather at Mountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship (19001 SE 272nd St, Covington) on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:00pm to commemorate his life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Peer Kent (Peer Kent).
