On Sunday, July 27, 2025, Tuvita Shavehead began her journey home to be with the creator. A wake will be held Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Blue Sky Hall at 7:00 pm, Ethete, WY. They will move her to Sharel Tillman's Residence for the night at 133 Cameahwaite – Charlie Town, Fort Washakie. A traditional service will be at Sharel Tillman's residence at 10:00 am on Monday, August 4, 2025. Burial will take place at the Armour Cemetery on Thunder Lane, Ethete, WY.

She spent the last year sharing her generous soul, visiting with her family and friends. She lived her life on the Wind River Reservation. She loved to visit, telling good stories and sharing experiences. She loved to cook for the family and shared her time. She enjoyed fishing and swimming. But most of all, she cherished her children and wanted the best for them.

Tuvita was the daughter of the late Alfred Shavehead and the late Elizabeth and Emmit Washakie. She was baptized in Our Father's House in Ethete as an Episcopalian. She was a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.

Tuvita had one son: Tory Shavehead, and three daughters: Lorelai Shavehead, Aisylinne Moss, and Leilene Shavehead, and one grandson: Tytan Shavehead, and a granddaughter: Eliz Ganadonegro, Legend Freeman, and Ruby Moon. The father of her Children: Lloyd Moss; Nephew: Omar Tillman and Nieces Kalita Tillman, and Nizhoni Ganadonegro.

Tuvita is survived by her uncles: Frank (Ann) Tillman III, Byron Shavehead, and Jerry Shavehead, and Aunties: Valerie Tillman, Sheryl Wheeler, Michelle Wheeler, Rhonda McCabe and Sandra Brown. Surviving brothers: Eddie Tillman, Travis Shakespeare, Sam Tillman, Brock Tillman, and Billy Tillman. Surviving sisters: Sharel Tillman, Tashina Track, and Alberta Behan; Grandmothers: Leona Buckman, Marion Buckman, Elvinia Buckman, and Elva (Clayton) Running Crane, Patricia Tillman, Flora Tillman, Sandra Tillman, Zelda Tillman, Gloria Antelope, and Debra Kay Antelope. and Grandpa Leland Tillman.

Tuvita is preceded in death by her parents: Alfred Shavehead and Elizabeth, and Emmit Washakie. Great-grandfather – Frank Tillman Sr., Great Grandmother Effie (St. Clair) Tillman, Great Grandmother – Laura S.Blade Buckman, Great Grandfather – John Buckman, Great Grandma Virginia Antelope, Grandpa Francis Shavehead, Grandpa Franklin Tillman, Jr., Grandma Phyllis Tillman, and Grandma Dorthy Wheeler. Uncles: Johnny Tillman, Hank Tillman, and Billy Tillman. Brothers: Willis Shavehead, Nathan Tillman, and Nohnda Soxgee Tillman, and Sister Collette Tillman – Eagle, and nephew: Bennie Tillman.
