Ty Howard Obituary

Ty Allen Howard
April 25, 1969 - July 28, 2025
Ty was born to Dan and Karen Howard on April 25, 1969, in Oak Harbor Washington, joining his older siblings, Troy and Tonya.
He grew up in East Wenatchee and attended Kenroy Elementary, Sterling Junior High and graduated from Eastmont High School in 1987. After high school he attended Trend Business College where he met his future wife, Ronnie Coe. They were married September 14,1991 and from that union came his 2 boys, Zachary Allen (1994) and Skylar Patrick on (1998) He was proud of his boys and loved watching them in their younger years play baseball and football. He enjoyed motorbike riding with them, fishing and playing music together.
Ty worked at Douglas County Department of Land and Transportation for 29 years. He started out on the road crew and then as a materials and state certified bridge inspector.
He was the biggest lover of music there ever was, a passion he passed right on down to his boys. He felt right at home at a concert venue or anywhere with music so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. Ty was a drummer at heart and could play music by ear on the keyboard. If he heard a tune, he could name the song and the band, there weren't many that he didn't know. Whenever there was a gathering, he always brought the music, he had a knack for playing the good stuff. For a short time, he had a DJ business called Four Request and played for family and friends' weddings and company holiday parties. We all have a favorite song that when we hear it, will forever and always bring back fond memories of Ty.
He was preceded in death by his mother Karen, grandparents Mable and Wilbur Kuhlman, Lee Howard and Doris Holt and several special aunts and uncles. He is survived by his boys Zachary and Skylar; his father Dan of Chimacum, WA; brother Troy Howard, Kalispell, MT; sister Tonya (Pete) Faulkner, E. Wenatchee, and ex-wife and friend, Ronnie Howard, also of E. Wenatchee. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and many friends.
Ty had a big, giving heart and an infectious smile; he could make anyone laugh with his unique and genuine sense of humor, he was a true friend to all. Our hearts are shattered by his passing too soon, but we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace resting and reunited with mom.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Condolences can be sent to c/o Brookside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 3131, Wenatchee, WA 98807.

My condolences go out to the entire Howard Family. I grew up with the Howard family. Went to school, went to their fabulous BBQ's. I spent more time at their house then my own. Life has no play book and I guess when its your time to go there is no warning. No words can express your loss. Ty RIP my friend.

Ty was such an exceptional individual. Like all three of Dan and Karen Howards children. He was kind and loving, so talented and fun to be with. As one of his Aunties, I was always thrilled to spend time with the kids while they were growing up and whenever we could get together. I will hold Ty in my heart and in my memory forever, as the wonderful human being he was. Love Aunt Cheri Lee

Ty was the sweetest nephew...I always received a big hug whenever we would see each other, and he had a wonderful smile that made me feel loved. He will be missed by his boys, family and friends. God bless Zach and Skyler, with love, Aunt Lynn
