Bennie Vaughn Watson born on August 2, 1938 in Covington county, Alabama. He passed away July 3, 2025 at Andalusia Manor nursing home.
Vaughan was a child of God, a beloved son, husband, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Zelma Watson, wife Doris Watson, brothers James Watson and Walter Watson, sister Jean Watson Morrow, brother-in-law David Riley and sister-in-law, Betty Jane Coker.
He is survived by his sister Ruby Watson Boswell and nephew Michael Morrow and niece Ann Steele of Covington county. He is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeanie and Gerald Stuckey, James and Jane Riley. Survived by nieces, Jan, Kayla, Maddie, and Anna Claire Hayes, Devin, and Tina Riley, Debbie Stuckey, Lexi Walker and Amanda Jones. Survived by nephews Brian and Shannon Stuckey, Neal and Colby Hayes, Michael, Eli, Mitchell, Caleb and Ethan Riley, Donald, Jacob, and Nathan Jones, Hayes, Stetson and Hunter Walker.
A graveside service was held at 2 PM Monday, July 7th at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Elder Greg Smith and Elder Andy Etheridge officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.
