Vicky Sue Ellis, age 59, of Luttrell, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Vicky was born December 7, 1965, in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Carlos Arthur Mayes and Jean Ann (Mayes) Peace.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, thrifting, and most of all her furbabies. There was always love, laughter, warmth, and fur surrounding her. She was also the Grand Master of ‘cheating’ at board games.
Vicky was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Arthur Mayes and her mother, Jean Ann (Mayes) Peace.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Ellis; her two daughters, Misty Dawn Mayes and spouse Scott Rendell Davis, and Ashley Nicole Poore; her grandchildren, Madison Mayes Davis, Virgil Rendell Davis, Ryland Lee Davis and Eleanor Mayesie Davis.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel in Knoxville, Tennessee, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
