Vicky Katcher, 69, of Marble Rock, passed away, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Greene. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Woodley Funeral Home, Greene. Private family graveside will be at a later time at West Side Cemetery, Marble Rock. Vicky Linn Rex was born June 27, 1956, at Charles City, a daughter of James and Betty (Lane) Rex. She graduated from RRMR High School. On September 16, 1978, Vicky was united in marriage with Michael Katcher at St. Mary Church, Greene. Vicky worked as a Personal Banker for 44 years in the same building for what is now First Security Bank and Trust, Rockford. She retired in 2020. Vicky's whole life was her children and grandchildren. She was always on the move helping chauffer, going to ball games, FFA events, concerts or just anything to spend time with her grandkids. She enjoyed relaxing in their backyard by the pool, doing jigsaw puzzles and entertaining whoever may show up, cooking enough for a small army. She never knew a stranger and cared for others with her help and support. Vicky will be missed by her husband of 46 years, Michael; children: Katherine (Paul) Gossweiller, Rockwell; Matthew Katcher, Greene; grandchildren: Eva & Lillian Litterer and Presley & Raylan Katcher; her mother: Betty Rex, Marble Rock; brother: Ricky (Darlene) Rex, Marble Rock; sisters-in-law: Nancy Truax, College Station, TX; Nancy Fish, Nashua; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, James Rex and her in-laws, Frank and Irene Katcher.
