The family of Victor Short of Fairfield, IL is saddened to announce his sudden passing on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 46.

Victor will be lovingly remembered by his son Clayton Short; Clayton’s sibling Victoria who he thought of as his daughter; Alex, who he thought of as his son; and JJ, who he thought of as his grandson. They were all very dear to him. He also leaves two brothers, Roscoe Short & Tim Short; and two sisters, Carol Short and Cindy Rhodes. Four nephews Jason, James, Wayne and Ronald also survive. Two great nephews Trinity and Christopher; and a great great niece Gracie and numerous other family members and friends will remember Victor.

He will also be dearly missed by his friends – Bestie Bryna, Sweetheart_Honey_Babe Kaye and TikTok #mudddaaaa_puckerrzzzzz friends.

Victor was predeceased by his parents, Roscoe and Darlene Short of Bone Gap, IL.

Victor was an avid WWE fan, to many on TikTok he was known as the life of the party! “It’s ALL Good”, “It’ll be Alright”, “it happens for a reason” and “What’s Up #mudddaaaa_puckerrzzzzz” are just a few of his notorious responses.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. His son Clayton Short will keep his cremains for burial at a later date. To honor his wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Victor Short’s memory in your own ways. We know he will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

Victor’s Facebook page will remain open, and all are welcome to post memories and final words to him there.
