Victoria Dahlke Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 7, 2025.
Victoria Kay Dahlke was the best kind of woman, strong willed, fiercely loyal, and full of humor. She passed quietly on February 5th, 2025 surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Victoria was a unique woman, after raising her four daughters, she spent most of her life surrounded by antiquities of the finest kinds; working at the Stoudt's Clocktower Antiques for many years, she cultivated relationships with a multitude of individuals who loved her and whom she loved in return. She's remembered fondly for giving one-of-a-kind gifts to her family for every birthday and holiday, she never missed a reason to celebrate. Known for her bold choices in vehicle colors, she was easily identifiable no matter where she went. Her fashion sense was unmatched and she never went anywhere without her earrings on and coral lipstick in place. We all will cherish her memory forever.

After a short illness, Victoria was greeted on the other side by her parents, Milton & Gloria Shirey, her daughters, Sarah L. Kline and Candace E. Jones, her son-in-law, James Jones, and her beloved husband, Charles Dahlke and Persian cat, Aristotle.

She leaves behind two heartbroken daughters and their spouses, Rebecca & Steven Scioscia, and Heather & Donald Moyer, as well as six grandchildren, Sarah, Steven, & Owen Scioscia, Matthew & Cameron Jones, and Samantha Moyer and a great-grandson, Bennett Kibby; also a sister, LuRay and husband Joe Nicolo, and a brother Thad Shirey and wife Terry as well as many other family and friends, all who will miss her dearly.

Services are being planned and more info will be released by the family.

Vicki was always lovely to work with, and we became close during the years I was at Stoudt's working with her. Generous to share her cigarettes and opinions on life, she always had a sense of humor about everything. My favorite memory with Vicki was when she took me to a casino to have a fancy dinner and to gamble, things that are not part of my usual life. She loved her family passionately and was always catching me up on what they were up to. She will not be forgotten.

My first memories of Vicki are many. Being a partner in the antique business for many years with her at Adamstown Antiques and Collectibles, many of us us enjoyed her quick wit and humor! Shared many great times with her at many functions. Personally for me ...I remember when one of our dealers got married at the Adamstown VFW and my father played "Santa Claus" for the Christmas wedding! It was a great memory! She will be missed greatly.Diane Hartman, friend, partner and neighbor.
