Victoria Marie Harris Dale, age 38 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully as she ran into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Marietta, Georgia, on September 26, 1986, she was the daughter of Lisa Almeida Baltzegar and Ted Louis Harris. Victoria is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Nell Almeida and her paternal grandfather, Bobby Joe Harris.
Having begun her career in teaching 10 years ago, Victoria was fortunate enough to work for Bremen City Schools. She earned her BA, MEd, and Education Specialist degree in Technology. Victoria taught 6th and 7th grade ELA and loved the staff and administration at BCS dearly. Teaching was not only her passion but a calling. She touched so many lives through her commitment to her students and believing in their success. Her love was a light to the students and faculty at BMS through her smiling face and constant encouragement. She showed us the true meaning of living with purpose, loving without boundaries, and serving with a humble heart.
Victoria loved the Lord and sought ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus, serving the church and supporting ministries that were near and dear to her heart. She not only talked about her strong and abiding love for Jesus, but she lived her faith boldly through every mountain and valley she encountered. Her trust and assurance in Christ never wavered during her illness as her body failed her, always saying "God is good". She ran her race with grace, courage, and love.
Victoria cherished every moment she had with her family. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and to the mountains. Her husband and three children were her pride and joy, and they loved her dearly. She enjoyed crafting for her kids and her classroom. Her family spent these last two years caring for her, and now they can rest knowing the Great Physician has healed her. Her presence and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Andy Dale; her precious children, Gavin, Chloe and Kinsey; her parents, Lisa and George Baltzegar and Ted Harris (Maria); her step-mother, Carrie Wilson (Marvin); her sisters, Nicole Rowland (Austin), Kathy Craig (Scott), Jennifer Harris, and Courtney Conway (Brett), Ingrid Bailey (Sean), April Almonte ; brother, Adrianne Almonte; her paternal grandmother, Betty Harris; and many extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Victoria's Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Corinth Baptist Church with Pastor John Smith and Pastor Mathew Young officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Corinth Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers you honor Victoria by giving memorial contributions to one of her favorite ministries/charities:
