Victoria Rafael Obituary

Victoria Sophia (Cook) Rafael, 70, of Monroe Bridge, MA, passed away Sunday November 2, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center. Daughter of the late Robert Barry Cook and Louise (Poulos) Liessem, "Vikki" was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 2, 1955.
Vikki was a talented artist, who loved to garden and give her husband a hard time. She had a wit as sharp as any and a heart of gold under her tough exterior. Vikki was a proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She will long-time be remembered by many as a spitfire, a gracious host of family gatherings and an avid nature-lover. Friends and family members think of her fondly ever time they encounter a frog. Ribbit!
Vikki leaves behind her husband Jose Rafael, children Heather Angersbach-Malhotra, and Joseph Barry Cook, and grandchildren, Deanna Skye Belmonte, Jordyn Elizabeth Belmonte, and Nathaniel Joseph Cook. Also surviving Vikki are her four sisters - Valerie Moynihan, Darlene Welch, Louise Slater, and Regina Belle Cook, and close family members, including, but not limited to, Darlene Barkman, Kelly Baker, and Sharon Perkins. Vikki is predeceased by her parents and late sister Michelle Lee Disher. Vikki was the type of person who felt "life must go on". She would want loved ones to remain happy and celebrate her life more than mourning her death. In the Spring, we will revive Vikki's Garden.
