Virginia Mae Chaffee, 93 of Kingsville, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Holden Manor Care Center.
Virginia was born July 19, 1931 in Greenfield, Iowa the daughter of Jacob Huff and Elsie (Campfield) Huff. She graduated from high school in Winterset, Iowa and attended a Business School in Des Moines. She was united in marriage to Jewel Joe Chaffee on December 1, 1950 in Harrison, Arkansas. The couple resided in Kansas City and later, Raytown prior to moving to their farm near Lone Jack. She was an inspector for the IRS for the majority of her working life. Virginia enjoyed shopping and she was an avid league bowler in her younger years. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kingsville.
Survivors include two daughters: Karen O. Chaffee of Kingsville, MO and Joetta Marie Price (David) of Beaver Crossing, NE; two grandchildren: Michael Lee Price and Jessica Marie Price; one great grandchild: Skyler Rose Price and a brother: Larry Huff (Sharon) of Winterset, IA. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Joe and grandson: Jacob Joseph Price.
