A private graveside service for Virginia will be held at a later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Ms. Virginia was born the daughter of George Lester and Anna V. (Jackson) Ragland on September 15, 1939, in Litchfield, Illinois. She graduated from Litchfield High School, class of 1957, and attended Omaha Business School. In her earlier years, Virginia worked for the Roller Derby Skate Corporation in Litchfield. Ms. Diesselhorst was an avid NASCAR and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Fan. She was not just passionate about her teams; however, she also enjoyed the sport of bowling and shopping in antique shops. One of her favorite traditions was going to the Covered Bridge Festival in Indiana and never missing an opportunity to make memories there.

Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Diesselhorst was preceded in death by her sons Gary Lee Diesselhorst (2024) and Robert Fred Diesselhorst Jr. (Infancy), and her brother David Ragland.
