Virginia V. Norcio, 89, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on July 11, 2025.
Virginia V. Norcio, 89, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on July 11, 2025. She was born on October 11, 1935 in the Philippines to Basilio and Maria (Vivas) Norcio. Virginia was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. After retiring from teaching, Virginia had more time to enjoy her hobbies which included playing Mah-Jong, cooking traditional Filipino foods for her family and taking care of children. Having no kids of her own, Virginia was often referred to by her nieces and nephews as "The Favorite Aunt". This loving sister, aunt and friend will be missed.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by siblings, Natalia Ornega and Felipe Norcio.
Survivors include her sisters, Laura Calub, Norma Locker, Luz Kiedpool and Gloria Fernandez; nieces and nephews and their families, Janice Campbell, Florence Calub, Jessie Norcio, Maria May Janas, Annafel Dollesin, Kevin, Lyndon & Mervin Kiedpool and Gerry, Glenn & Gary Ray Fernandez; along with extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Catholic Daughters of America Vigil Service at 9:15, a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
