Virginia May Williams, age 80 of Shavertown, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
She was born in Shickshinny on June 18, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys Winans.
Virginia graduated from Northwest Area High School. She worked several years as a dietitian at Bonhams Nursing Home and later at Five Mountain Realty with her husband and owner of the business, Ken. She was a proud member of Bloomingdale Bible Church and loved being outside, working on her yard, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Williams; and son, Royal "Buck" Culver.
Virginia is survived by her son, Scott Culver and his fiancé, Caryn Oplinger; and graddaughter, Emily Culver.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor David Hossage, Bloomingdale Bible Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Bloomingdale Cemetery, Ross Twp.
Memorial donations can be made to either the Sweet Valley Fire or Ambulance Association, 5383 Main Road, Sweet Valley, PA 18656
